The Circuit Report: Team Preview - Griffin Elite White 2023

The AthElite Memorial Day Challenge is just over a week away. Teams from 8 states will travel to Owensboro, Kentucky to compete at the state of the art convention center on May 28-29 in front of media, college coaches, and scouting services. One team, however, will not have to travel far at all. Griffin Elite - White is one of the western Kentucky installments of the powerhouse Griffin Elite program based out of Erlanger, Kentucky. The 2023 group is loaded with top players from across Western Kentucky and will be a headliner in the 17u division at the first annual event.

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

We first saw Danye Frazier in 8th grade and his growth has been steady ever since. Marcus Eaves is the younger brother of former University of Evansville, John A. Logan, and Murray State standout Jaiveon Eaves but is creating a legacy of his own as he picked up a Georgetown offer earlier in the spring. Four-star 6'11" Forward Wadang "Pop" Wel moved to Kentucky earlier in the fall and should finish his high school career as one of the top players in the country.

The list of impressive prospects doesn't stop there. Parker Culbertson is a hard-nosed scorer who is pacing the team with 13 points per game so far this spring. Evan Ferry is a 6'1" guard who does a little bit of everything averaging 9 points, 5 assists, and is also very active on defense and on the glass. Dylan Talbott is a walking double-double and is a major contributor to the team's success.

Tyler Moss out of Tennessee is an intriguing 6'4" prospect who could be a great-get for a college program. Layne Steele is a 6'5" wing who excels off the bounce with a smooth pull up game or the ability to create at the rim.
